…a Seattle area widescreen-baroque-indie-pop-rock quintet currently rising from the ashes of Half Acre Day. It began last September at a small club in West Seattle called the Skylark. Half Acre Day – in the middle of their first live performance in six years – spectacularly imploded on stage. No one is sure what sparked the collapse, but after Matt Kristiansen stormed off the stage, soon followed by the bewildered remainder of the band, the void was quickly filled by their alter egos – collectively calling themselves The Gigs of Ram.
